Davos — Morocco has joined a new international peace initiative launched by U.S. President Donald Trump, becoming one of the founding members of the newly established “Board of Peace,” a body designed to promote conflict resolution and strengthen global stability.
The charter establishing the Board of Peace was officially signed during a formal ceremony in Davos, Switzerland, held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum. President Trump presided over the event and personally signed the founding document, marking the official creation of the organization. Morocco was represented by Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, who signed the charter following instructions from King Mohammed VI, confirming the Kingdom’s participation as a founding member.
